Mission
The Ark is a non-profit school whose purpose is to provide
a Christian learning experience that will meet each child's
spiritual, mental, physical, emotional , and social needs.
Description of Services
The Ark includes a day care program for infants, as well
as a toddler, two's, and preschool program. These programs
include flexible scheduling options, and they are developmentally
appropriate with activities, curriculum, and learning materials
geared for each group. Extended day care is also provided
for preschool.
Philosophy
The Ark is designed to promote quality child development
in a setting where Christian values and principles are observed.
A goal of The Ark is to provide children with experiences that
build a good self-image, foster creativity, and develeop an awareness
of all persons as children of God. We believe
that through a wide variety of expreinces the child can be
helped to become friendly, condsiderate, and loving.
We strive to provide an atmosphere that fosters critical
and creative thinking as well as self-respect, self-reliance
and self-discipline. A child's spiritual growth is promoted
by modeling and teaching Christian attitudes and values.
The Ark serves as both a resource and a support system to
parents. Open communication is one of the most important
ingredients in a quality program. As partners in "parenting"
we welcome your comments and concerns.
Ratios
Staff includes one lead teacher plus at least one classroom
assistant for each class. We will strictly adhere to the state
standards for teacher to student ratios. |

INFANTS
Infants are considered 6 weeks - 12 months or walking.
Children must be immunized and parents must provide diapers,
formula or milk, and other necessities.

TODDLERS/TWOS
Toddlers must be walking, off bottles (drinking from a cup)
and on finger foods. Our toddler program is for children ages
one and two. This is a comfortable introduction to group

PRESCHOOL
Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1st and completely potty
trained. Emphasis for the 3 year olds will be on social and
emotional skills, gross and fine motor skills and creativity.
Our 4 year program is designed to ready the children for kindergarten.
Various activities will be offered to ready the children physically,
mentally, and emotionally.

Parent helper discounts are given to parents that sign up for a
regularly scheduled time to assist in the preschool room.
Required hours are depenent on the schedule your child is on.
TUITION
Tuition is charged on a monthly basis. Tuition is due on the first
day of each month. A late fee will be assessed if tuition is
received after the 5th of the month.
Tuition is charged based on the space and time reserved as
opposed to the actual time attended.
