The Ark Childhood Learning Center

As a ministry of Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, The Ark provides a Christian learning experience promoting quality child development. The Ark offers programs with scheduling options for infants, toddlers, and two-year olds. Our Preschool and Pre-K programs teach the social-emotional, and academic skills needed for Kindergarten.  Our infant through toddler classes teach them how to walk, balance, talk, move their limbs etc. Several assessments are administered throughout the year to make sure the children are ready for Kindergarten, based on the criteria put forth by FUSD and input provided by parents and staff.

The Ark strives to provide children with experiences that build self-respect, self-reliance, and self-discipline; foster critical and creative thinking; and model Christian attitudes and values.  The Ark believes that open communication with parents and guardians is one of the most important ingredients in providing such a well-rounded experience for children.  With this understanding, The Ark also serves as a resource and support system for parents, and encourages parents to express any comments and concerns they may have in regards to the education of their child.

The success of the children at The Ark would not be possible without the commitment of the director and staff who have a heart for God and a heart for children.
