Alan Adams
Chair
Alan has served on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team for two years and is entering his third year, his first as Chair. A member for over 40 years, he brings steady wisdom, deep commitment, and a sincere desire to follow Christ. Looking ahead to 2026, Alan hopes to lead with collaboration and hope, often saying, “Let’s Build Something Good,” while helping THUMC live out its mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All.
Sara Aleman
Missions Lead
Sara is entering her second year on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team. She has a heart for sharing the love of Christ through missions and is especially focused on serving the marginalized. Committed to living out THUMC’s mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All., Sara brings passion, dedication, and a servant’s heart to the team, helping the church make a meaningful impact in the community.
Susan Barnes-Werley
Member
Susan is entering her second year on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team. Raised in the church and now a parent of two children in THUMC’s Kids Ministry, she brings thoughtful questions, insight, and a bright, uplifting presence. Susan is committed to helping the church thrive and live out its mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All.
Sandy Briggs
Member
Sandy is entering her third year on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team and has been a devoted member for over 40 years. She currently leads Kitchen Ministries and has also served in Kids Ministry and at the Ark Preschool. Sandy brings experience, dedication, and a heart for service to the team, helping THUMC live out its mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All.
Marilyn Canteloupe
Personnel Lead & Secretary
Marilyn is entering her third year on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team and serves as Personnel Lead. A retired teacher from Cottonwood, she brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to leadership, shaped by years of supporting and empowering others. Marilyn is committed to fostering healthy staff relationships and helping THUMC live out its mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All.
Steve Galloway
Member
Steve is new to the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team and brings over 30 years of membership and active involvement in the Flagstaff community. Passionate about social justice and elevating human dignity, Steve is committed to helping THUMC live out its mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All. He brings energy, dedication, and a heart for service to the team as it works to make a lasting impact in the community.
Doug Lee
Finance Lead
Doug Lee is entering his second year on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team and is committed to transparency in THUMC’s financial life. He believes faithful stewardship helps the church live into its calling of Real Love. Real Change. For All. in Flagstaff. A member for over 20 years and a retired anesthesiologist, Doug brings integrity, care, and deep community commitment.
Joe Meehan
Member
Joe is entering his second year on the Trinity Heights UMC Leadership Team. Deeply motivated to support LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion, he cares especially for those who have felt dismissed by the church. Joe serves with dedication and conviction, helping THUMC live out its mission of Real Love. Real Change. For All.

Leadership Team meetings are held on the last Sunday of every month at 11:00 AM in Room 101. These meetings are open to all who wish to attend and observe, and meeting minutes will be posted afterward. While everyone is welcome to participate, voting is reserved for Leadership Team members.
